Venue

The workshop will be held at the Acquario Romano (Piazza Manfredo Fanti 47, 00185 Rome, Italy).

Getting there

From Roma Termini train station

The venue is in the immediate vicinity of Rome’s main train station (Roma Termini): 200-400m, depending on the exit that you take from the station (see also the map above). Train services from numerous European cities are available daily.

For detailed information, please check Trenitalia’s official website at https://www.trenitalia.com/en.html.

Flying into Rome

Rome’s main airports are Fiumicino (FCO) and Ciampino (CIA). The corresponding websites have detailed and updated information (including prices) on how to get to Roma Termini. For the purchase of tickets, we recommend the official Trenitalia website, indicated above. Each airport’s websites also provide information on how to get into the city by taxi. Depending on where you decide to lodge (see Accommodation below), your hotel may also offer a direct transfer from the airport.

Accommodation

The area around the venue is densely populated with a wide range of accommodation options, from modest B&B to high-end hotels. Merely as an example, please see this link, provided by Booking.com (the link will open on a new page). Whichever service you use, we recommend booking your stay as early as possible since Rome is a popular destination at the end of June.

Warning

Unfortunately, there is an increasing number of fraudulent websites and email promotions claiming to offer registration and accommodation services.
